Job Readiness Bootcamp

The AWLSI Job Readiness Bootcamp is a structured workforce preparation program designed to equip participants with the practical skills, discipline, confidence, and workplace behaviors necessary for successful employment and independent living. Through resume development, mock interviews, communication training, hands-on work exposure, peer accountability, and real-world workforce simulations, participants are prepared to transition into meaningful employment opportunities and long-term career pathways.

A Community

The Autism Workforce & Life Skills Initiative is designed to provide more than workforce development. It is intended to create a structured social environment where participants can build friendships, confidence, communication skills, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Participants will have access to community integration spaces featuring:

  • A juice and snack bar

  • Peer-cooked meals and shared dining

  • Guided sharing sessions

  • Recreational and social activities

These experiences are designed to strengthen social development, encourage healthy peer interaction, and help young adults build the confidence and interpersonal skills necessary for successful independent living and community integration.

AWLSI helps participants explore potential career pathways through hands-on exposure, supervised work experiences, skill-based training, mentorship, and real-world workforce opportunities designed to identify strengths, build confidence, and develop long-term employment direction.
